Greek Theatre Masks – Nov 2021
In Y5 we made Greek theatre masks. Take a look at our work at every stage from the cardboard cut outs covered in newspaper, to covering them in modrock strips and finally painting them when they were dry. There are some very creepy masks and some funny ones too. Well done Y5.
Congratulations to the Y5 Class 9 athletics winners this half term (Aut 21)
Indoor Archery – 12 October 2020
Soluble materials – 26 September 2020
We have been experimenting to find out which materials are soluble (will dissolve) and insoluble (won’t dissolve). We also tested if some soluble materials still dissolved in other liquids e.g. baby oil.
Back to the new normal – 15th September 2020
In Class 9 we’ve talked alot about how we can come back to school and get used to our new normal. We’ve also talked about the world around us. Here were some of our ideas!
We have talked about what to do while we can’t hug people, bereavement, and how to support someone who is not feeling themselves right now.
Greek day – 14th September 2020
Year 5 had a fabulous Greek day. Even though our visitor couldn’t come to us physically, they came to us virtually. Here were some of our fabulous costumes.
Thank you to Past Productions for virtually coming to our school.
We’ve also been working on the Greeks in class. Take a look at some of our fabulous week one work as a class.
