1 – Class monitors help solve the problem.
2 – Bring all parties together.
3 – Each person takes it in turns to tell the other person how they feel. Starting all sentences with ‘I’, trying not to use ‘you’ too much.
4 – The other person listens without interrupting and repeats back what the person has said without commenting themselves.
5 – The other person(s) do the same.
6 – They then come to an agreed conflict resolution.
7 – If one person needs restorative justice then this too is agreed.
8 – The perpetrator may wish to decide a suitable consequence which is not too harsh.
